“ Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning with a friend and got seated pretty quickly after arriving at 10 am! Food was pretty good, but the hashbrown had a bit of an oily aftertaste that I wasn't a huge fan of. I got the DotCom omelette with an extra coffee cake to-go. Service was very friendly, tho busy for sure. Parking was kinda rough LOL they have a tight lot in the back and luckily I found a spot, but definitely no walk in the park. Overall pretty good, I might try something different off their menu next time! ”
“ We're visiting the bay and we saw the Hobbes has good breakfast! We tried and glad we did! The service and people are very welcoming! The place has history with president biden visiting! The portions are very generous and the kids menu is a win! My kids loved the Mickey pancakes and Nutella pancakes. Their bacon is super thick and tasty! I can't find anything I didn't like. The menu has many items to choose from as well! We loved it! ”
“ Had breakfast at my favorite place on the Peninsula three Saturdays in a row. Hobee's never disappoints. I love their coffee, especially this time of the year (pumpkin, yeah!). Whether its their omelettes or their breakfast combos, I always clean my plate. Their blueberry coffeecake is fantastic and my Go To throughout the year, except now. Service is always great and most of the staff have been there for years. I love how they rock the Stanford gear during the Big Game Day. Nice! Okay, time to show the pics... ”
“ Apparently Tim Apple comes here. It's a great spot. Their "world famous" coffee cake was good, their omlettes were amazing. I got the dotcom. Service was a bit slow on the check but I think that's because I was supposed to pay on the way out ”
“ This was my first time here, hubby has eaten here before. Miguel seated us, sooo nice. We ordered our drinks, I ordered bacon and eggs, potatoes and coffee cake. Took coffee cake with us, too big. Yummy!! Hubby ordered Bennie's florentine, the food was very good. Service was fantastic! Very cute place. Highly recommend! ”
“ I am so glad Hobee's is still around and appears to be thriving. They have been a Bay Area institution my entire life, and it is no secret that their coffeecake is to die for! On my most recent trip, I brought home the pumpkin coffee cake, as they were out of tins for the blueberry (or there was only a giant tin available, and I had no room in my bag). Regardless, delicious. Re entree, last time I think I got the turkey burger, anyone who follows me will be unsurprised to learn I couldn't finish it, and my friend helped me. It is so hard to decide, I have never had a bad meal at Hobee's. I think I would go for a scramble if it was breakfast. The chili kicks ass as well. Service is fine and capable, if a little on par with a diner (which this is!) just don't expect the haute cuisine experience and you will be fine. ”
